This is a mix of many different au's- why I decided so many we may never know.
Credits to @hello7928 for the original idea and for permission to use their au! Go check out the original story: Taking Control of Panic. It has a great storyline, but they have decided to stop writing it due to having no motovation or ideas. I have slightly altered the au, so if you do read the story there will be some noticeable changes.
The other au's I'm using are the adoption au, the split au, and the hybrid au. More will probably be added sooner or later- The split au is where Ranboo's sides can become two different people or entities.
Trigger warnings will be at the beginning of each chapter. The only one I will mention here is swearing, but that's because I don't find it necessary to write at the beginning of each chapter.

Tommy had gotten away from Dream in the canon universe, but in another Tommy was caught and turned into a living punching bag and, kinda, an experiment for Dream later on. He didn't expect Tommy to lose his emotions, the nervous system that told him when he was in pain, and even the will to carry on without Dream by his side. He didn't think that killing and reviving Tommy would affect him so much, but then again Dream wasn't complaining in the slightest. He finally had full control over Tommy, something he'd been craving since he first met the teen. He was not about to let his grip on the teen loosen.
