Meet Ember Clarke- the new girl in town. Or, should I say, on the island.
She's got wit, smarts and let's not forget, she's a killer surfer. Her recent move was decided based on her mom getting a job on the island, as a boat mechanic to help after the storm. Also needing a fresh start and a change of scenery.
Aiden Beckett is native to Oak Island, North Carolina, just like the rest of his friends. He is a laid-back surfer dude and is ready to enjoy his summer with waves and beer when the new girl, Ember Clarke, comes in like a wrecking ball and ruins all his plans. His friends welcome her with open arms but he knows there's something she's hiding from them and is determined to find out what.
