When it ended, they both stayed in contact and ended up moving together in Dixons parents house. Everything was perfect, everyone was happy. But the day when the dead started walking, the whole world got turned upside down and Daryl left Serena with his mother but was never to return with his brother. Did they ever find each other again or did they give up on each other?

As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most.
