in the middle ~ your dad has to go to work in the obx for a year, meaning he has to take his family (including you) with him. it was an ordinary thing until you run into some childhood friends, the pogues. however, your family went full kook over the past 4 years when your father received a large inheritance, which might change the pogues' view of you.
along the way, you run into some trouble with boys and treasure, but your not going to let that stop you from having the best year of your life.
