Charlotte felt like she didn't have much to offer this world. Her "talents" were mediocre at best, and the only thing that set her apart was how many "talents" she had. The only thing she felt she had going for her was how she was able to read people, and see underneath all their facades and find truly wonderful people, and always helped them find their path in life. This lead her to be a rather popular person at her school.

David was a pretty troubled guy. Not that he was involved in anything particularly bad, that his foster families knew of, but because he felt like his life was never going to get better than it was in high school. How could it for an orphan? Being bounced from family to family was really taking a toll on him, at least it was until he was bounced right next door to Charlotte Weber.

And if anything was going to ring true it was that this was only the start of their stories that ended up intertwined.
