Two promises. One broken, one kept.

In Alaska Springfields first year of college, she dated Lux Turner. They were the perfect couple, everyone envied what they had. "They're going to last," everyone said but that was just a guess.

Second-year of college Lux moves. Alaska and Lux decide to do long distance. He promised to call her every day and that someday he'd come back. But as easy as a promise is made, it can as easily be broken.

At first, Lux calls her everyday day but those phone calls every day turned into a text every week and slowly but surely he cut her off.

Third-year of college Lux moves back without warning but he doesn't move back just anywhere... he moves into the house right next to Alaskas.

Perhaps he kept one of his promises: To someday come back.
