Rather than a certain Salvager finding the Aegis, we have the last survivor of one race in Alrest bonding with her instead. Meet Alithios, a 523-year-old Fonist raised alongside Rex by Azurda. How will this age gap affect the new Driver of the Aegis now that he has the fate of Alrest on his shoulders? What will become of the Salvager now that he is not the Driver of the Aegis?
