Just a lost tale
A quirk is just a quirk.. but what if said quirk makes you addicted to water? What if it makes you want to be in water the whole day and nothing more. Screw the land as the water would be all you need or so it felt like Izuku Midoriya. Then there was also the pure fact that everyone on land forgot about him including his very own mother... or so he thought. There was one person who didn't forget about him. One jump, one adive, was it really the answer to the problem? Sure it was worth giving a try but would god really answer the prayers? Izuku Midoriya, couldn't stand it anymore.
