Dream has been a selective mute for a few years now after a certain incident. The list of people hes comfortable talking to is small, and does not include one of his best friends, George. Can George get his friend to talk, and maybe even figure out a way to help? How will their relationship evolve as George breaks down Dreams walls. ~ Cover art is done my me! I dont have a tiktok (only a twitter) associated with this wattpad account or this fanfiction! If anyone is claiming to be me, its not! if I ever create any other accounts for this story I would let you all know!! ~ With the rising popularity of this book, I want say that within writing this I am not trying to invalidate others experiences as a selective mute. Ive done as much research on it as I could, and I tied my own experiences with Anxiety and RSD into it. If there is anything remotely incorrect or rude in the way it is represented or interacted with inside this book please inform me and Ill make an effort to correct it! Thank you! ~ For reference, any dialogue quoted through * * is sign language, which isn't used too heavily in this story but there will be references to it. Just for a sake of simplicity so I don't have to describe the motions every time. Additionally, if any quotes are italicized, that means they are through text or writing. New Friends, or Old?
Dream and George used to be best friends when there were little kids but Geroge's family moved away and he ended up forgetting about Dream, but Dream never forgot his best friend. Then years later the two end up living next to each other again and Dream recognizes his old friend and wants to reform the friendship, and maybe add a bit more to it. This is a DreamNotFound fanfic. I don't want to make anyone unconfirmable, so if Dream, George, or anyone else that I add here wants it taken down I will. Also, Dream has said that he doesn't like his real name and so whenever he is mentioned he will be Dream and not Clay.
