There are two kinds of angels, those who serve the darkness, and those who serve the good.  Those who serve the darkness are called the Ominous, and they are strictly forbidden from love.  They are  people who made deals with the devil to stay alive and get revenge on the world.  The angels who serve the good are called the Ecstasy, they work to restore the love in the world, acting as guardian angels and anonymous helpers to humans.  Some have special powers that help them to fight off the Ominous, these are what humans mistakenly would call fairies or sprites.  Gwen has been a member of the Ominous for thirty years since her mother made a deal with the devil to keep her daughter alive.  She is in New York City on a mission, when she sees the boy who she fell in love with so many years ago.  Meanwhile, Marnie is a new angel of the Ecstasy, working with her former guardian  angel, Jackson.  She discovers her true potential, but also how much danger her friend is in.All Rights Reserved
