-Summary-
In this story you will read about a marvelous dog named Parvis and his journey across a broken land that was taken over by a widespread virus that terminated the human race. Years later, some humans remain alive, in small groups called sanctuaries, however, our story doesn't revolve around them. Paris is a border collie, welsh sheepdog and rough collie mix with hardly any survival skills, who makes his way across the wasted away land until he mysteriously runs into a pack of dogs who have learned a way to survive through their own strategies and wits. In order for Parvis to survive, he must gain the trust of this pack, and learn to survive aswell.

The Alpha's Mate
Mort, is the Alpha for the Red Crimson pack and I am his Beta, Taragon. He has recently found a mate and because of an accident that happened years ago after I found mine that caused her death, my punishment was that I would never have another mate. I accepted it as punishment for not protecting her at the time and caused her death. One day, the Alpha meets his mate and she happens to be a runt in one of the worst families of our kind. He isn't too happy with her and she's so fragile looking. Although, he feels that for her, she can still be useful around the house. While he's away, I take care of some things along with keeping an eye on her also. Then something happened, out-of-nowhere, I heard my inner wolf say, 'mate'. How can she be my mate when she's the Alpha's? What can I do since I can't let the Alpha know about this? I can't defy or go against the Alpha. Yet, I can't stand the way he treats her. They say don't talk and drive, and now I know why. Although, not for the reason you might think. I accidentally hit my alpha mate with my truck. Bet the insurance won't cover that. I wish I could say my story was this; It's raining while I'm driving home, I hit a dog, get out to help it surprise it's not a dog but a hot werewolf that I fall in love with under the beautiful stars. Sadly, not true.
