-Summary-
In this story you will read about a marvelous dog named Parvis and his journey across a broken land that was taken over by a widespread virus that terminated the human race. Years later, some humans remain alive, in small groups called sanctuaries, however, our story doesn't revolve around them. Paris is a border collie, welsh sheepdog and rough collie mix with hardly any survival skills, who makes his way across the wasted away land until he mysteriously runs into a pack of dogs who have learned a way to survive through their own strategies and wits. In order for Parvis to survive, he must gain the trust of this pack, and learn to survive aswell.

Hi! I'm Doom! A friend of mine recently inspired me to create such a story! I'm a 16 year old young writer and reader, I enjoy action and adventure along with a little splice of romance! Have fun reading!

----- I gasped, but soon enough the rain settled the flames down, making it disappear. I flipped onto my back, making the worst decision of my life. I cried out harder, with unbearable pain shooting through my shoulder. I quickly rolled onto my left side of the body. Making my backwards leg and popped shoulder hurt a tad less. I laid there, crying my eyeballs out. The rain got lighter by the second and stars started to appear in the night sky with the thick clouds drifting away. As the rain officially stopped, I was welcomed to darkness. ----- A/N: Now, I was 13 years old when I created this, and I am highly aware of some errors with spelling and the structure of some chapters. All werewolves have mates. So what happens when you fall for someone before you're 18... "Hopefully hes my mate" is all Markie can think as she waits for her 18th. This is a short story that takes place in the middle of "Orphan Wolf". It can be read independently but will have spoilers if you intend to read "Orphan Wolf"... I of course would suggest you read it and pause at the point I marked to read "Markie" but the choice is yours. Story excerpt "Come on Ryan leave me alone!" A boy yells. "You started it Francis... come on pup don't start that with me... I don't have time for this! GO HOME!" I felt the command. I see the little 8 year old boy from last night run away crying, one of Ruby's cousins. When I turn the corner I see a boy about 20 and am hit with an overpowering smell something like fresh cut wood and autumn leaves. It is amazing. I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "The one you want isn't mate. He isn't yours. He isn't interested... I want mate!" "No." I block her out and climb down the tree.Complete

Alec's hand gripped my wrist hard, "You're coming with me back to my pack." He stated. "No, I'm not." I pushed myself to say this. His nails were now digging into my skin. "Ouch! You're hurting me. Let me go!" I struggled to get my hands free. The man gave me an apologetic look, "Alpha, you're hurting her." Alec retracted his hands while I rubbed my mine. "Okay, let me make this clear," The sadistic smirk showed off his white teeth, "You either come with me or I'll declare war and slaughter your pack. You know I will and can." My jaw dropped at his demands. "Are you serious?" This is absurd. "Do I look like I'm joking." I could tell he wasn't, he meant every word. "I can't leave my family," I stated. "You will. Or else you'll have none. If you don't come, I'll torture your family. Even down to the youngest one." My mind wandered off to my goofy little brother, and he had crossed a line. ~ Leah Indica was always a nice, sweet, innocent girl. She always helped anyone who needed help, it was her passion. She loved to make people happy, more importantly she wanted a mate to make happy, to love, and to cherish him. At Eighteen, she finds a mate. He is known as the most cold hearted Alpha in Romania. He has wiped away many of packs and has gone on killing sprees for fun. She tries to help him and be the best possible mate for him, and she overlooks the fact that he is blind. However, he seems to not have the same feelings in return. He only cares about one thing, his eyesight, which he can never get back. He often takes his rage out on her, when all she wants is his love. She wonders herself if she could possibly melt his cold exterior. A Dog Was Murdered In Cold Blood. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ During a fire that raged through most of the city, a Wolfdog named Sword's brother was murdered. His death was covered up by the fire, but his murder was discovered anyway. Sword, leader of a pack large and vicious dogs, blames another dog pack lead by a German Shepherd Lab named Flash. Now both packs are attacking each other, and there is no humans left to stop them. Dasher is a Dalmatian living on his own, but now he can't avoid running into one of the vicious pack dogs and it's making his life difficult. But, he believes if he can find Trickster, Sword's brother's murderer, and prove Flash's pack innocent, he can return to his peaceful life as a lone dog. ~~~~~~~~ This is my original idea please do not steal it. Cover was made by me. I'm still debating whether or not this is going to be a short story or a "normal" length. This book is friendly to all ages. Or So I Thought.
They say don't talk and drive, and now I know why. Although, not for the reason you might think. I accidentally hit my alpha mate with my truck. Bet the insurance won't cover that.
