A Second Chance

The Strip's best definition is survival of the fittest. "Do what you can to survive even if it means doing unsavory things, we all end up in the same grave after all." The unspoken, but common rule extended over The Strip for many generations. An orphan of the slum, named Nova, is in the same boat as the rest of the herd and tries to make it to the next day by any means. That was to be her life until the day she died or so she thought. She was exploring the underground tunnels below The Strip one afternoon and came across a trio of young children around her age. She grew up in The Strip where you learn certain things so she can survive and trust your gut and instincts. Every inch of her was telling her this encounter was going to change the direction of her life, she just needed to make sure it was a good one.
