"Pandora! It's dinner time!" The young man's voice echoes up the stairs. I linger by the door, I didn't want to sit across from my fake family.
Halfway down the stairs, a platinum blonde stands on the steps; tapping his foot at me.
"I hate seeing you guys. Ew." I glare, keeping in step with him. His grey eyes flicker an emotion, but return to their normal stormy ness.
In the middle of our awkwardly silent dinner, an owl swoops in to drop a letter in my lap. My heart skipped a beat. This was the letter I've been waiting for.

"Abort it." "Excuse me ?" "Abort that thing inside of you!" He shouts in my face. I put my hands on his chest, trying to put some space between us. The man didn't even budge. "I'm not aborting my baby!" I feel strong hands wrap around my throat, and the next thing I know, I'm being lifted off the floor, fighting for air.
