The game of godly revenge isn't over yet. SPOILERS FROM BLOOD OF OLYMPUS."I'm ssso glad we could chat dear. I have been wanting to meet you sssince Gaea resssurected me." Rachel could see a thick, scaly tail undulating in the pitch black, almost as if she were in a cave and the only light was shining on that one place. The voice speaking was hoarse and snake-like, with a cheesey drawn-out ssss in font of its words. The voice made Rachel quake with fear, though she didn't know why. She tried to speak: "who are you", but her mouth wouldn't move. "I am the mighty Python, my dear." Turns out the snake could read her mind. Typical. Python laughed, or at least made some ungodly sound that resembled a laugh. "Sssilly girl. You call yourssself an oracle. I WAS THE FIRSSST, I WAS THE GREATESSST! But that doesssn't matter now. Apollo dessstroyed me, ssso I ssshall dessstroy his prophecy. Ssstarting with you, puny mortal. Let your pitiful friendsss try to ssstop me. I darethem." Rachel's sight completely cleared and she gasped when she saw Python laughing at his joke. He was at least fifteen feet long, and a foot thick. Python had four fangs that were as long as daggers, and red pits for eyes. His reptilian skin was a pattern of black and green diamonds, and behind his head he had a red crown, like a basilisk's. Python turned towards Rachel with his red eyes glittering, and lunged. All is well since the demigods won the battle with Gaea, but there is still unfinished business. Gaea promised something to every ally of hers, and to Python, she had granted him the chance to slay Apollo and take over Delphi once again. He spent the majority of the giant war brooding in Delphi, with an army of monsters, and now comes his revenge, starting with capturing Rachel Dare. To stop Python, magic, trickery, and crazy demigods will be needed. And maybe a Python-style prophecy. BE WARNED: People will go missing Blood shall be spilled Ships will be shipped Feels will be felt.

Percy sighed, forehead resting against hers. "Figures. Australia?" "That could work," Elia conceded. "We could have a beach house. Big yard. Proper garden, none of that sad windowsill herb nonsense. You could be a super hot lifeguard, all tan and dashing. Make friends with the local shark populations and I'll be a kangaroo caretaker and your designated sunscreen applier on the side." "So you think I'm hot." Percy wiggled his brows cheekily. The brunette kissed him. "We're literally dating." "Potato tomato," He mumbled against her lips. "Potato potahto," she corrected futilely, allowing his tongue to meet hers. "Mhmm," Percy said, teasing. "Keep talking dirty to me." °~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~° After everything she's endured, Elia wasn't searching for another adventure, it found her. One moment she was contently solving problems and building gadgets in peace, the next she was thrust into a world unraveling at the seams. Ancient enemies from long forgotten myths have returned, cryptic prophecies haunt her every step, and nothing is as it seems. As she's forced to traverse dangerous alliances and impossible choices, she soon realizes survival simply isn't enough anymore. To defeat threats on the horizon, she'll have to confront secrets buried deep within her past and grapple with things she barely understands for a future. But if she fails, it won't just be her world that falls-it will be everyone she's ever cared for. Elia always thought she was destined to stay in the background. Turns out, as usual, fate had other plans.
