Two wise leaders put aside their differences in the hopes of bringing peace to their warring packs. Their children are hoped to carry on the tradition, keeping the peace alive. The dance is coming, Charlotte can feel her blood singing, but with the great responsibility of making her father proud comes giving up her freedom for her people and being tied to someone she may be a stranger to. Gabriel feels the stirring deep in his body begging for the blood to be spilt at his feet. He’s been waiting for this day since boyhood, but fighting for his right to lead also means accepting a mate chosen by the dance.

They were once two hearts too young to hold love's weight-their promises lost to time, their hearts bruised by pride. But time has a beautiful way of softening the sharp edges of the past. When fate draws them together again, not as it was before, but as something deeper, steadier, a flame finally strong enough to endure. As souls finally grown enough to keep the promise carved in dawn.
