Nina's life has taken a turn for the best for once. After the death of her best friends, Jack is there to cheer her up and make life worth living. All seems well, Nina might finally get her happy ending, until the war begins. The global war between the rising mutant league, the Evolutionary Group and the rest of the planet begins, turning the world against mutants. Sides will be chosen, fighting for mutant rights, or to end this rebellion. No one can be trusted, no one can be safe.

Will Nina choose to follow her heart and ignore what is going on around her, or to fight for one side and trick another? 

This is the third book in The Wolverines Daughter series, following book two, Don't be the Hero.

And she found what she was looking for. Will her mom support her ideas and job as part of the xmen? It's also been two years since she's seen jack.
