Day after day a man travels to the hospital in order to visit his horrible boss and report of the previous days work. Though after three days of ending up on the wrong floor, the hospital staff becomes irritated. Due to having to show him over and over again where the room is, they reluctantly allow a mysterious yet helpful young lady show him where the room is. And, from that point on the two walk together to the room.... Until they can no longer.

I didn't realize at first that those were going to be his last words... I never stopped to think that I wouldn't get another chance to call his name and have him throw his arms around me. I would never be able to tell him how much I loved him or how important he was to me, ever again. I couldn't even comprehend the thought of losing him. It's been seven years since that day and they haven't seen each other since. Carla became a school counsellor in the hopes of giving support to young children who are struggling with life but she never really lets herself fall back into her past. Evan became a paramedic so that he could save lives and save people from having to hear how their loved ones died moments before they arrived at the scene. "You tease me too much," I muttered, licking a path up to his ear before nipping at him. "Standing up here at the front of the class, strutting around with your perky ass. And I know you're wearing those goddamn tight panties. I can see the outline of them underneath your pants."
