How cruel can revenge be?

It all started with a suicide in the bathroom of Pembrooke High and led to the entire small town of Aneta in a twisted trap of gun shots and muffled screams.

Aneta had never witnessed a crime before. Not until Jared Carson, destined to play basketball in college is found dead one night near the beach.

But here's the problem- 17-year-old Nicole Diaz, who's never talked to a single person in the town except for her best friend, is convinced she did it.

The following months, three clues are found- a gunshot, a note and an abducted little sister.
