Ereivale is the kingdom blessed by the goddess Eren, Eren is the goddess who has been prayed to by many followers and she's rumored to be the reason why many previous wars ended in victory despite being pinned against the worst enemies during Ereivale's dark age.
According to Ereivalian Lore, mortals (humans) who don't use magic reside in Ereivale live among the 3 types of magic users:

-Sorcerers who have magic from within themselves.
(Born with a distinctive sorcerers mark somewhere upon themselves.)
-Wizards who learn magic through their education.
(No Distinction marks, or godly intervention, just studying the magical tomes.)
