As I was running, I could hear two thundering growls. I knew that my mates were close behind but I still kept running, dodging trees and branches. All of a sudden, I heard two sets of paws running closer behind me and then they jumped on me, making me tumble to the ground. After a few seconds, they got of me and shifted back. I looked away and got off the ground.
"You can look up now, my queen" one of them says.
I do just that and see that they both have a pair of shorts on. They then push me against a tree.
"Why did you run away from us?" The other twin says, growling slightly. I look away, unable to hold their intense stare. Words wouldn't leave my mouth, I just wanted to get away. I attempted to push them away from me and tried to squirm out of their grip, only for them to growl possessively at me and push me back. I decided to answer them back. I didn't want to get another beating.
"I wa...was sc...scared."

I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me. I dipped and dodged around trees, careful not to trip or run into anything. Just a little further, I thought to myself. I knew I would be safe as soon as I saw the little cottage at the end of the thick forest. I was so close to my freedom, so close to opening the door. Bam! My body instantly became cold. I squealed as the snow fell into my collar and down my back. I wiggled trying to get it to pass through my coat and drop out the bottom. I turned around with a glare on my face. My father stood facing me with a smug grin. Again, I attempted to stomp into the house when suddenly, my mother jumped out at me out of no where and pelted snowballs at my entire body, I noticed through the chaos my big sister was also helping her. "OKAY! I surrender!" I cried, falling back into the icy blanket with tears of laughter flowing from my eyes. ********* I gasped as I woke from my dream. I looked at the forest around me.
