This is a collection of my english and social papers for school (in the condition I handed them in) starting at grade 9 so some are pretty bad but they get better. I promise. The reason I am including the bad ones is I think there are beginnings of good thought hidden in the terrible writing. That and it allows any of you curious folk to see how my writing has developed over time.

I was taught in school that essays are "taking on a perspective" and that is how I treat my essays. I interpret that in a way that means I am free to "take on" a perspective that is not my own; in fact, I find that arguing for a perspective that is not my own is a great way of understanding that perspective.
