"Don't!! Just stay away from me if you know what is good for you." He said in a harsh tone.

She stepped back as though stung. 

She tried to reason with him "At least let me take you to a doctor."

He yelled "I don't need you now or ever!"

He was hurting so much, that he felt like lashing out. The pain, the anger.. It felt like it would consume him from inside if he didn't let it out. 

His grip on her hand tightened as he pulled her closer. It was painful, but what he said hurt her more. The fire in his eyes held her captive as he said in a gruff voice "Leave now before your lover sees you in my house."
