After facing the fact that her mom may never come back to her, her brother or their dad, seventeen-year-old Evanna Smith realizes that she just has to manage to make it out of high school. That is, until the boy who she had been close with, Joe Demaro, comes back after a year of almost not seeing him. Evanna Smith learns information that could make her or break her. And she doesn’t know if she will even be able to face the truth.  Seventeen-year-old Joe Demaro, who is a handsome, nice, yet troubled boy, has had a troubled past. Especially after being in jail and now coming back to the town he was raised in. He faces the noticeable glances in the hallways as he tries to rebuild his life back together. He has secrets of his own, and he is trying to face the challenges that are brought with those secrets. Is he willing to share those secrets, or let it backfire against him? This book is my official book I wrote for NaNoWriMo, and I self-published this story already and copyrighted. Just One Week by Sydnee Martin is on Amazon. Enjoy! :) Feedback is great! This is an excerpt as well.
