George had just gone through a breakup with his ex-girlfriend in England. He wanted to get away from reality for a while, so he went on vacation to Florida. A few of his online friends lived there so George thought he could spend some time with them.
However, while in Florida, he gets into a fatal car accident with a man named Clay. They were both taken to the same hospital in the same room. After they got their medical treatment and were recovering, they got to know each other pretty well.
What neither of them expected was to fall for each other...
*hi so this is my first dsmp based story. I just started to get obsessed and I read so may other good dnf stories and I decided to make my own story. It's just a short story that I wrote cuz I was bored.*

My first finished book. Inspired by the song Home For The Summer by Sara Kays. This book contains strong language and has a few smut chapters, you can easily skip those if you want as I made sure they don't contain important information about the story :) Clay and George used to be inseparable, but when Clay had to leave the town they had both grown up in together, their friendship slowly faded away. Now, years later, they still hadn't forgotten about each other but were both too scared to reach out to one another. That was, until Clay decided to come home for the summer, going back to the town the two of them had made so many memories in, in the hopes of finding George. Fighting Together
George suffers from epilepsy which causes him to be bullied for that at school. After being humiliated in front of the whole school for being gay, the popular boy named Clay decides to stand up for him. Clay, suffering from diabetes with abusive and not supportive parents, does everything to help George get rid of the bullies while struggling a lot himself. The two start getting closer and closer until Clay starts realising he's more similar to George than he expected to be, wanting to be closer to him every day. Clay has autism and finds comfort in simple things, the illuminated a fireplace on a winter's night, fish swimming and stuffed animals. However, this was all soon to change after a tragic accident. Clay finds himself alone, seeing his happiness slip away from one simple mistake. George doesn't have an easy home life, after noticing signs of possibly a muscle disease, his only wish is to get help for it, however his parents deny every word that is brought up about it. Yet, it gets worse by the day as George quickly looses any hope left. When Clay is left traumatised by his past, he thinks nothing will bring back the same happiness he once felt, but when George moves into the farm he often visits, that same joy that was extinguished with the fire, sparks again... George is 17 and in his last year of high school when he gets terrible news. After having weird nosebleeds, strange bruises and a lot of dizziness, the doctors find out George has leukaemia. George's best friend, Clay, is there the whole day for George and as George fights his battle against leukaemia, Clay supports him in every way possible. He shaves his head too and is there with George in all of his chemos. He buys George his favourite beanies and even let someone make one for him. But doctors start to lose hope of George ever getting better and since there is no match for a stem cell transplantation, there is only one person left to help him. George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.Concluida

[FINISHED] George has to live with extreme anxiety. He never talks to people and locks himself in his room. One day he needs to go to the supermarket. A random boy, named Clay, walks up to him, he makes George run away. The boy keeps contacting him. Why does George feel so comfortable around him? He isn't allowed to. How does this random guy do this, calm him down all the time? What starts with just a small conversation ends in way more than ever expected. 'Why did you start talking to me?'
