I look up in anger at the man who was now towering over me, his nostrils flared as he took heavy breaths in and out, staring down at me in rage. I mirrored this as I looked up at him, my own anger causing my shadows to whip around sharply. We stare at each other in the eyes, neither of us backing down as the other two shout at him trying to call him off. His shadows come dancing around him to meet mine in turn. A moment passes and it feels as though the shadows part to reveal an invisible string tying us together. Just as the mating bond snaps into place. Her eyes seem to be possessed with something, as the sun's rays reflect off the glassy surface, ashamed to be in her presence. Inside, stars revolve deep inside the vast galaxy she has managed to create, and as I trudge deeper into the depths of unknown, time and reality seem to pause and bow before her. A tinge of rose-inflicted water swirls in her eyes and blurs my vision, but her aura is somehow sweet. Like candy, her addictive smile lure all who see her, and her layered personality is timid, shy, and delicate. But don't be fooled, once she warms up, she is chirpy, and cheerful. What does that description make you think of? An angel in a mortal's soul? A mere dream? I grew up with her, and she was the equivalent of something that even heaven couldn't conjure. But life is a deceiving creature. A lie. Because whilst her body portrays a perfect, shameless, care-free girl, her soul is slowly dying. When I realized that she'd be enrolling at Yuko High, my blood levels spiked. However, it turns out that the girl I thought I knew was long gone. People change, and nothing stays the same. And in that time, I've changed a bit myself. One thing I do know is that she isn't happy. But I happen to have just the solution for that...
