In a world where a person can have more than one soulmate,Rami, a 15 year old girl has just found out that she has 6 soulmates. One of them is her ex named Cameron, the other one is her ex's best friend, that is bullying her along with her ex, named Justin. Then there is a depressed boy, that has a crush on her but Rami only sees him as a brother, named Mathias and his homophobic best friend named Bailey. These four also happen to be her neighbors who can sometimes be too much for her. The other two of her soulmates are one of her classmates named James and a tattoo artist that owns a very popular tattoo shop named Ezra. When they find out that they are soulmates will they accept one another or will they reject each other? Will they learn to love each other? Can someone truly find happiness with the persons that made their life a living hell?

In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek.
