Despite her considered kinship with Abe Freecss and close friendship with Mito Freecss, she never allowed herself to develop a relationship with young Gon. Having thought for her lifestyle to hinder the boy's happiness, she kept her distance, and would gladly have continued to do so if it weren't for his determination on partaking in the Hunter Exam. Upon the pleading request of Mito and excitement from Gon, she reluctantly joins his cause. However, she finds herself pressured with more than she bargained for when a certain Joker makes her question if what she truly seeks is vengeance . . . or to be seen.
