While seeking heaven, he would only run into a plethora of dead ends. And amongst the many he came across, he found her waiting for him. Racing against time, she took his hand, lightly placing a kiss upon his knuckles. Leading him to the place he most desired, making a home in her heart. They sat underneath the moon's watchful gaze, a smile gracing her lips as she whispered her love for him. In his ears rang her voice so calming and melodious, ushering him back to sleep, he fell unconscious into the deep abyss of her eyes. Finally at peace with his past, this yaksha took his last breath in her arms, clothes sullied a deep red.

Tasked to overlook the yaksha after serving Rex Lapis for eons, Seulgi is now under the protection of the five most powerful illuminated beasts on the lands of Teyvat. However, the karmic debt that pursues after them leaves no resolve of protecting neither her, nor the people of Liyue, and definitely not themselves.

Some of the yaksha are overwhelmed with the darkness that stands before them, taking the lives of their comrades, and even their own. One of the five disappears without a trace, while the last of the group continues to live his life honoring the contract that he once made.

Of the six friends that once lived, only two remain. Desperately trying to revitalize the harmony that once was Liyue.
