Helloooooo everybody! Once again I'm hosting writing prompts, and this time I'm joined by my friend (and angst war opponent) IcyWillowSong :3 This time, the contest is all about choices! Rules in the first chapter, hope everybody has fun writing!

~Zyvea POV~ All I wanted was to save money from a good job, enough for medical school. How did I end up with a dead, reclusive parent and a sprawling estate!? I spent my entire life scrapping by with every penny I found and stretched, and yet that old bastard sat on acres of property that he didn't care enough to mention, let alone take care of. Thick forest has swallowed more than half of it, save for the large manor house and the surrounding couple of acres of wild garden. There's something to its wildness that beacons me, almost feels like it wants me to chase it. They say that it's dangerous to wander there, but I feel an urgency. Almost as if my presence is an answer to its impending wildness. Should I answer its call?

The locals had warned me that no one in their right mind would enter the North Woods alone, not unless they had a death wish. It's a good thing then that I am not in my right mind. Fear had prevented me from returning to this place for years, but the nightmares depriving me of sleep threatened to steal what little sanity I had left, leaving me with no other choice than to confront the source of my apprehension. I was tired of pretending that everything was ok. That I was ok. I needed the nightmares to stop. But in order for that to happen, I needed to uncover my lost memories. The North Woods held answers, of that much I was certain. So here I stand, ready to face my past. If only I could get my legs to move. **FIRST DRAFT - UNEDITED **
