(this story includes triggering things such as: bullying, self harm, abuse, etc) Dean Winchester's life is complicated. After his mothers death, he has basically raised his little brother, Sam. Their father has hardly been in their lives, his job as a drug dealer requiring him to disappear for long periods of time and causing them to move around a lot. But when their dad finally gets arrested, a man named Bobby Singer takes the boys in and enrolls them in a more permanent school. And as if his father's incident wasn't hard enough on him, Dean begins to question his sexuality when he meets quiet, introverted, and (he must admit) quite cute Castiel.

Of course, all of that paled in comparison to The Accident. You know, when Dean crashed the car, killed his father, and lost his sight. Will You Remember Me? ▪️Destiel▪️
During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes. Two boys who couldn't be any more different meet at a fosterhome after Dean and his younger brother finally get taken away from their abusive father. Castiel is pretty interested in the shy new guy and after they overcome Dean's trust issues they start forming a friendship like nobody has ever seen before. But Castiel wants to her Dean's story, wants to know what had happened to his new friend. And so Dean starts telling a story - his story. He wraps it up in the story of an unknown boy, hoping his friend doesn't realize that it is his story. But in the end only one story will be left to tell - the story of how the broken boy fell in love with the angel. Trigger Warning: self harm, depression

After Castiel gets taken by the Empty, Dean falls into a state of depression. He throws himself into hunting to avoid feeling or thinking of feelings. One day, on what he thought was a routine hunt, he gets captured by a group of rogue demons. He begs them to kill him, but they keep him alive just to torture him. Will he be rescued this time since his Angel is gone?
