Terry is dead. But who did it?

Terry is one of the nicest people in his small town. But he has one flaw. He hates cats. He absolutely abhors them. That's not so bad right? But the town he lives in loves cats. They practically worship them. You can barely even find a handful of people in that town that don't have a cat. But no one in the town hates Terry enough to kill him. So when his dead body is found, everyone is puzzled. Who killed Terry? And why did they kill Terry in such a gruesome way? And who is the owner of the pair of mysterious blue eyes?
