"When a learned fox is placed within a group of foolish wolves, the fox always comes out on top."
Stories have magic, more powerful than any other force in this world. Words connect everything together; from math to science to history - what would these subjects even mean without proper language to describe their meanings?
Some, however, do not see the worth in books and literature. They believe it is a mere distraction to the harsh realities of life and banish it from their lives, from their children's and grandchildren's and so on, until life has no meaning. It tumbles, flailing for air in a tide-swept ocean. What is life without the meaning literature brings?
This is the story of a girl who lives through this story - her story. Her story - more full of life and words and literary magic than once thought possible - is told by me, your humble author. I have no more to add, besides this:
She would be the first to tell you that she is not the main character. And she would also be one of the many ones to be wrong.
TW: Mentions of blood, gore, death. Within-universe swear words.
Thanks for the amazing cover @Writers_Sonata!
