4 needles were in her hand with yellow liquid inside. I buried my face in my hands and sighed.
"Just 4 times and I'm outta here." I say to myself quietly as she puts on gloves.
She walks towards me with the needles. Joan will put them into my skin. Into my veins. I shiver with nervousness.
"Wait." I protest as she goes to my left side.
"Don't worry, hon. This won't hurt a bit." She smiles assuringly and rubs alcohol roughly onto my skin. She spoke lies. They all do.
