The Way I was Raised

Elijah Matthew was raised in an Amish community on a small farm his whole life. Knowing no other way of life he was content. He was meant to be married to a sweet girl he has known since he was little named Mary and raise the kids they have within the community as well.
Every year all of the teenagers who turn eighteen are made to go on a trip to the outside world for one month. If they choose to leave the community within that one month trip they are banished and are never allowed to return. Elijah turns eighteen.
During the trip Elijah meets a boy, Trevor who turns his world upside down and makes him question everything, even himself. Trevor has bright blue hair and gray eyes filled with wonder and happiness. Trevor wants Elijah and plans to have him. He wants Elijah to live and not be content with his life. He wants Elijah to want him.
