"She was breathing heavily, the world was spinning so fast, too fast, it wouldn't stop spinning! Nooo, she thought, this is not how I go out, this is not the end. It can't be.

There was an icy line of pain as a knife was dragged across her cheek and eye. It felt as if her head were being torn in half, so she did the only thing that was left to do, she screamed. It was a shrill horrid sound like a banshee that made everyone around them cover their ears and go temporarily deaf as she tried desperately to escape.

Grace Dracwa wakes up one day in a forest with no memories at all.
