Control (boyxboy) AU
You may still like this even if you don't like fantasy. It's more like a normalization of angelic humans. There's plenty of gay adorableness and cuddles. Based in a world in which everyone is an angel and must earn an ability not inherited through family. It seems random but it's not in the slightest. Each matches ones personality. Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair. Pepper is a 15 year old wingless. The last one in his whole grade. Everyone picks on him and hates him for it, but he especially hates himself for it. He lives with his dad that does nothing but abuse him, and he has the biggest identity crisis you'll ever see. Then he meets the gyrokenetic boy Robin. Being able to tamper with gravity, will he keep Pepper on the ground or will he float away. *WARNING* This is a boyxboy and if you aren't cool with that just don't read it. It does have some triggering stuff like abuse and i'm afraid it might be to important to just give you a warning to skip. I think that covers it. Enjoy the story.Complete

What can you say about a girl who was supposed to die tragically young? That her guardian angel got distracted while writing her life code and inadvertently sent her into an infinite loop, a quantum uncertainty of sorts, packed with bonus features. This sort of stuff can create minor issues for the rest of Creation, issues which, of course, need to be ironed out, but there is nothing that can't be fixed with good team spirit and a can do attitude, especially if you're not unreasonably inflexible about the laws of physics. Don't worry about breaking reality, you can always make yourself a new one, or several, and improve the energy efficiency of the electromagnetic spectrum in the process. After around ten years of making sure my neural system was intact, the metal surrounding me grew with my body and the batteries didn't poison my immune system, I was given the option of getting out of CARESS, also known as Centre of Adolescents in Rehab after the Effect of Scientific Surgery, and live a normal life. Well, as normal as it could get for a teenage girl with giant metal wings stuck behind her back. ~~~~~~~~ "You remind me of Maleficent... But with blue wings... And definitely more badass." "Who?"
