A figure walks through the morning's silent streets, as papers flutter in the wind. The person steps along the shadows, trying to erase their presence, like prey would to escape. They grip the straps of the old and worn backpack tightly to ease their nerves. Yet the more eerily quiet the place became, the more relaxed the figure got.
It's surprising to say the least. Finding the quiet more comforting than the noise of some presence, but maybe that's the reason why.
Buildings had fallen and crumbled down with few remaining that stand tall. Old blood stains were left and never cleaned, left to rot like the corpse that use to be
there. So many red flags have shown themselves to the silent figure. It's a wonder why they haven't left.
Paper crunched under their shoe. They tense and their eyes fell to see the yellowed page. The figure darts their eyes around before taking the paper in their hands curiously.
The eyes of the person went sharp and their hatred seeped out as they read. But they only slightly bent the paper with their grip and let it go, letting it fly in this town once more. Walking further into the distance till you could see them no more.
The paper that boiled anger into them read this.

A being that could be known as human, if not for the eyes that seem to follow them. It's face covered with white cloth.
A world so dark and dreary. How does one survive?

I smile into the kiss, and the shared fear of losing each other slowly dissipates, replaced by raw passion. A few minutes pass, and Sasuke breaks off the kiss, though reluctantly. I sniff and wipe my eyes. "I love you so much," I whisper, reaching up to tuck a strand of raven hair behind his ear. He beams at me, his charcoal eyes glistening in the sheer moonlight. Until one unfortunate day he was entangled with the worst situation as he had to present himself before the antagonist of the book. Standing before him he caught his eye and was recruited as one of his personal guard. Moreover the protagonist of the story was very much to his distaste. He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?"
