"Perfection is never achieved, only striven for."
-Primus "Origin" Odhinkar

In the midst of the Viking Age, a collection of aliens introduced to a Scandinavian chieftain perks of understanding unlike anything mankind could possibly imagine. A Philosopher's Toolkit is handed down to a group of children, which only refined and solidified a new stage in human evolution. These children are tasked with undertaking the responsibility of their destiny, and despite their elders best efforts, is something no mortal creature can prepare them for in totality.

Primus Odhinkar, his younger brothers Lars and Soren, and Emika Ugelsted grow and develop, learn and explore, and accept the inevitable transmigration from mortal to immortal, with all the consequences and responsibilities it entails. Once this fated day comes to pass, the art of letting go must be practiced, lest an imbalance lead to the eventual destruction of the world they hail from.

"I'd like to call this phenomenon 'The Ragnarok Effect."
-Mathias Ugelsted

Will they learn to let go of all they've ever known, or will they cling and watch as everything is destroyed?

Perhaps the catalyst of the latter will have his own words in edgewise.

Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled.
