A young filly experiences an unforgettable seaside summer on the Italian Riviera filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Lyra shares these adventures with her newfound best friend, Bon Bon. But all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water's surface.
I have been heavily inspired by AO3 user FurbyDisaster53 and their Hazbin Hotel movie parodies. However, this is not the first MLP movie parody I've done. That one will come later. I'm doing this one now because I absolutely loved Luca and felt like doing a rewrite of it myself. Images will be added once they are completed.

So. Here are the facts as you see them. Fact number one: Giulia is going to be on the train for Genova in two days. She's going back home--because Genova is her home, apparently, and you're still grappling with the idea that there are places outside your island and Portorosso, BIG ones, they keep telling you, all over the globe--where she'll spend the next nine or so months going to school. Fact number two: You and Luca now own your very own Vespa. It's not road-ready yet, and it might not be for a while, which is fine actually because it turns out now that the Paguros aren't going to send Luca away to the bottom of the ocean, you're going to have to whittle them down into giving him permission to run away with you. Fact number three: That's not even really a plan that makes sense, if you think about it for more than a few minutes at a time. Less than a year after that very first summer, Luca and Giulia are back in Portorosso. The three kids couldn't be more excited to spend this summer together--even if, for Alberto, it means he'll have to hold the cards of a few uncertain, unspoken words closer to himself than before. And as for Luca, the trouble of determining just where "home" is hasn't been this difficult before. But what the kids cannot be prepared for is a change far greater than they saw coming. Giulia is a sea monster. No explanation, no reasoning. So maybe this summer won't be quite so simple after all. Though this is what happens when they're Bound to a destiny that has only just begun to unravel.
