"You can clip the wings of a bird... but you can never
" -Tayy

Twenty-one year old Jhemeni Bellamy, possessor of a elite
socially inclined lifestyle, seems to be content with her situation. Anything
she wants she gets no questions asked; but what she really wants is always underneath what everyone thinks she
needs. She finds herself lacking a voice
yearning to be freed from this cage she's perched on day in and day out.

Beneath this persona that was handed to her with a ribbon on
it is a young, ambitious and
self-liberated woman; but at such a
premature age not even she sees herself fully. She needs someone to pull this
passion that burns inside her out because even porcelain can crack.

But this someone may lead her down a path of tucked away
secrets and mixed emotions. Will he be the death of her? Or will he be the
light at the end of the tunnel she was looking for? It is up to her to choose
the path of prudery or the path of finding one's self inquisitively?

BOOK I: The Reasons - the ground is unforgiving. So is survival. Madison Cameron was born in space, a child of the Ark, never feeling the sun on her skin or breathing the fresh, unfiltered air of Earth. She's never experienced the sensation of water, the way it would flow against her or lap around her as she swam. For three generations, humanity has clung to the Ark, floating in the cold vacuum of space, its fragile walls the only barrier between them and extinction. The Ark was all they knew-sterile, artificial, far from the dangers and beauty of Earth below. But now, the Ark is dying. It can't sustain them much longer. They are the last hope of mankind, a fragile chance for survival. The Earth they land on, however, is nothing like they imagined. It's not a fresh start or paradise - it's a nightmare. The air is toxic, wildlife monstrous, and every step is a battle for survival. The Earth is alive, but it's unforgiving. Amidst this chaos, Madison and Bellamy Blake find themselves at the forefront, taking on the roles of leaders. Both carry the heavy weight of responsibility, knowing that the survival of the remaining human race rests in their hands. They both strive to protect their people, to do whatever it takes to ensure their survival. But where Madison is focused on the harsh reality of survival-pragmatic, calculating, determined to keep them alive - Bellamy's vision is driven by something more abstract: freedom. They clash over their ideals - her need for structure, his thirst for freedom - and every time their paths cross, the tension between them makes their already perilous situation even more volatile. Yet, the Earth continues to test them. It doesn't care about their petty squabbles or their hopes for a better future. The planet doesn't care about Madison's desire for control or Bellamy's lust for freedom. It only cares about one thing: survival. how far would you go . . . for someone you love? ♔ Levi steps forward, placing himself between me and Jack. Like he's protecting me from him. But I don't need protecting, certainly not from Jack. "Who do you think you are, dude?" Levi spits, getting in Jack's face. "Look, Scarlett was just helping me out with a proj-" "I'm not your dude," Jack bites, and I want to tear my hair out of my head. This is going downhill very fast. Jack turns to me. "Scar, we need to talk," he says lowly. Then loud enough for Levi to hear, "So can you please get this kid to leave." "Hey, you don't get to come in here and start ordering her around," Levi says harshly. "You don't control her." "And you think that you do?" Jack spits. ♔ When Scarlett moved off to college, she hoped to start anew and find her way in this world alone. Two problems. One: her older brother goes to the same college, and it seems like he's everywhere, keeping her from doing everything she hoped to do as a college freshman. Two: her brother's devastatingly handsome best friend also seems hell-bent on ruining her college experience . . . but in a different way. Their paths keep crossing, and Scarlett is reminded of the powerful attraction that they've both ignored for far too long. Not to mention, a new face begins to occupy everyday Scarlett's thoughts. When Scarlett is paired with an allusive, darkly handsome stranger for a film project, her world begins to open in ways she never thought possible. But as his mystery unravels into dark secrets, she wonders if she's falling a bit too hard. Before long, Scarlett is forced to realize that balancing the hearts of two boys at once just might result in the breaking of her own.

Equilibrium; a state in which opposing forces or influences are balanced. ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅ "Fuck you, Bellamy Blake." I said. he knew he wouldn't get those words out of my mouth. He didn't move from me, his breathing was harsh like he was conflicted between doing something. I lowered my gaze to his lips, I looked back up only to realise that he had done the same thing. He met my eye once more. It was so called for but unexpected. In that moment, the two halves of me had fought as we both leapt onto each other. His lips aggressively met mine as we made out. We both panted into the kiss, and his tongue forced its way into my mouth as I was pushed onto the tree. "You drive me crazy." He said. "I'm glad to know that I annoy you too." I panted. "That's not what I meant." He started. His one hand cupped my face, and the other pulled my lower half of my body to him. I could feel him hard on my leg through his pants. "This is." ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅ He was her greatest enemy. She was his worst betrayal. Bellamy Blake has spent years hating Cassie-the girl he once trusted, the girl he now blames for everything he's lost. Being stuck together on the ground means that old wounds reopen, and neither of them is willing to back down. She's reckless. He's ruthless. And the fire between them is just as dangerous as the battle they're fighting. Every glare is a challenge, every touch a mistake, but no matter how hard they fight it, the tension between them threatens to consume them both. But when the truth begins to unravel, Bellamy is faced with an impossible choice: hold onto his hate... or risk everything for the girl he swore he'd never forgive. Maybe she wasn't the villain he thought she was. Part 1: Completed Part 2: Completed Part 3: Completed Part 4: Completed Part 5: Completed My most impressive rankings- #1 in 'Bellamy' #1 in 'Octav
