In a world drowned with riches and royalty, Mal finds that even prisons can be pretty. She and the VK's must do as much as they can to assure the broken futures of Isle children in hopes to forget their own shattered lives. But as they enter the jaws of Prep Academy, they discover new challenges beyond their casual street fights, violence and death. They protect themselves from jealousy, drama and power to win the game of love, friendship and belonging.

"My eyes?" He furrowed his eyes and softly detached her hands that were roaming around his chest and face.

"Yes, your eyes. This way, they are very pretty," she said in a whisper and gazed up at him in an entranced, drunken gaze.

Ben suddenly felt heated and he distracted himself by saying, "What do my eyes usually look like?"

She laughed once. And then twice before seriously saying, "Murderers."

"My eyes looked like murderers?" He chuckled nervously to hide his confusion.

"They still look like murderers," she said and caressed his eyelids. "But they're prettier."
