Simply the thought of release made me think of the first two lines of the first poem, and then it kinda went on from there. Actions are powerful, but words are just as powerful if not stronger.
Every day is worse than the last. I have very little fight left in me, yet I'm still here. When I figure out what's stopping me, I want to share it with the world in the hope that nobody else will have to feel this way.

Poetry Of a Convoluted Mind
This is a small collection of poems that I have compiled over the years starting at age 15 stemming from my own personal experiences and observations of the world around me. I am hoping in the future for this to become a book. Trigger warning mentions of suicide, attempting suicide, self harm, addiction, OD, hanging, child abuse, depression, bullying, and psychological torture.

Fake a smile, No one knows you're broken. Fake a smile, it's easier than trying to explain why you're sad. Fake a smile, lie and say you're fine, it's easier then trying to explain why you do what you do. The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered.
