Kayla Summers had a normal teenage Australian lifestyle but that all turns when she runs into Michael Clifford in Sydney. Now her life will never be the same ever again.
Kayla and 5SOS become fast friends, despite personalty diffences, but Kayla has a past that is being kept hidden. Not wanting anyone get close to her again, she wonders if she'll be able to trust 5SOS enough to let them in.
Family issues, friend issues, school work, and the problem of being recognized as 5SOS' close friend with their fans takes a complete turn. Now Kayla needs to step up and take on her new responsibilties or she's going to face the music with her father and lose her best friends.
