Jivika Vonage is a normal 25 year old Indian who works at a coffee shop in Washington DC named Mcdough's Cafè. She is a very generous person who is very insecure about herself, especially around people. She keeps her distance from the world and it's people.
After Jivika's parents passed on she kept her distance from her best friend Sasha Sinclair and thier friendship bond broke apart ever since. Her world has been upside down and in the darkness, she feels lonely inside without her friends by her side to support her. She goes on a second job hunting when she gets a position at the Darice Country Institute.
Her world turns around when she meets Devon Darice a rich 32 year old American billionaire who gets whatever he wants when he wants it. He is a very much respected Man who works in Darice Country Industries around the tristate area.He falls for Jivika and asks her to work in his company.
