The Chosen One

Maeve Evans is lost. Her beloved Gran has just died, college
is ending and she has no job or place to live. And the dreams – night after
night for months, she has been dreaming the same thing. She walks down a
country lane, illuminated by moonlight, and finds her way to a dock. He is
there every night waiting for her, the man with the piercing green eyes.

With only two weeks left in her college apartment, one phone
call changes everything for Maeve. Gran has left her a small cottage by the
river in New Bridge; the house she thought was sold off long ago. The night
before she moves in, the dream changes. The man with the green eyes speaks,
telling her his name and that he will protect her. Protect her from what?

She decides to push the dreams from her mind. Until she
arrives in New Bridge and realizes both the dreams – and the green-eyed man–
are real. So is the danger he warned her about. With his help, she discovers
who she really is – the Chosen One.
