Cora hid her baby girl from the kingdom and Rumple with the help of her husband Henry. Evidence grew up feeling unloved so she runs away and starts to search for her father who she had learned to be the dark one. Evidence was on a journey to find Love. 
But like any quest in these stories, something usually gets in the way. In Evidence's case she catches the eye of a certain Pirate Captain.
