One month.

That's all Caroline has to save her mother and for Klaus to keep his family's business.

It's only been Caroline and her mother her whole life. And they've been doing just fine. But now that her mother is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Caroline doesn't have the money to pay the chemotherapy that can save her mother's life.

Klaus Mikaelson is the eldest son of Ester and Micheal Mikaelson and the rightful heir of Mikaelson Inc. But the other four powerful families of New Orleans think that Michael should give his company to a more suitable man; a family man. Something Klaus isn't. Michael thinks maybe his soon-to-be married youngest son, Kol will be the better option. A man who the other families will support and a man who will one day raise an heir of his own.

Both Klaus and Caroline need each other to save what means most to them.
