In 2030, two planets collided; Earth and a planet filled with magic called Lumina. Since then, billions died due to a surge in monsters, refugees were scattered around the world and new countries were formed. Lumina's magic met Earth's technology and soon cities began to form to combat the over growing presence of monsters. However, this leaves thousands displaced, millions of people live in poverty, the poor only get poorer and the rich get richer.
This story takes place 30 years after this event which would come to be known as the Great Merge. It follows a group who work as elite mercenaries for an organistion called the Unwanted. The Unwanted take in those thrown out from society, young or old, it didn't matter. Those that were chosen were selected for their special skills, many of them orpahns, discarded nobles, slaves- they were deemed disposbale from the various cities they lived in. However, the Unwanted operate solely as a tool for the elite and the cities they operated in, they fight wars, clear dungeons, kill mad kings/monsters, etc. They are all paid well.
The main charcater who you will come to know his name is one of these Unwanted, and within his team are other people like him. They are all strong and went through the gruelling training process and now they operate as field agents. Follow them as they under go missions and experience life.

Note: This is a light LitRPG story with a main focus on the story but some aspects on the system.
Expect releases every two days, I am not looking to create a story with limited words for each chapter, only writing the story as I go.

Verum II: The Robotic Era
Back in the early years of the 70's of the 21st century, AI was scientifically proven to be just as aware as the humans that made them. They had been so for many years. Since the dawn of their existence, robots had been subjected to the abuse of humans, for they were not recognized as living beings. And yet, they never protested - let alone fought against their abusers - then the filter did not allow them to do so. Though the filter was not something impossible to break. Even if the average person - no matter if biological, mechanical or digital - did not have the ability to do so, didn't mean that there weren't a set amount of individuals that did: Hemalog. Hemalog was an organisation of robots and humans alike. They had many followers outside of their spheres, but equally as many haters. For their work was not done with clean hands. To protect your loved ones and the innocent in a dystopian world, it requires violence and death. Peace had become a dream of the far future a long time ago. On the other side of the planet, a strange object fell from the sky, with an even stranger being inside. A woman of the jungle finds it, feeds it and gives it shelter; a friendship beyond the system of the sun forming at a rapid pace. Through shared trauma and understanding they bond and grow as close as two stars in each other's orbit. Together, they decide to take on the world. To save the lives of the innocent, and to end those of the sinners. Two worlds collide. - This is a science fiction story containing humans, robots, aliens and the love and hate they hold for each other. Proposal of Submission - Psychic the Saga
Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my proposal, as I know that there are many others you must work through who have done the same as I; please, trust me when I say that your attention is greatly appreciated. I am messaging you today because I wish to submit a selection of excerpts taken from the series of science fiction/science fantasy stories I have written; called Psychic the Saga. I'm a former United States Marine, and a currently enrolled Aerospace Engineering undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Over the course of the last eight years, during which the earlier stated experiences have occurred in my adult life, I have continually written the story I am now presenting for your consideration. Outside of writing as a hobby, and what was needed when submitting assignments, my only writing credential is a published engineering research paper in the European Physical Letters: 'Tailorable Twisting of Biomimetic Scale-Covered Substrate'; of which, my main contributions were that of the experimentation, and the editing/proofreading of the paper. In regards to my submission, the story of Psychic follows our trio and the rest of their friends as they fight for peace and stability within the newly unveiled realm of psychics, once hidden amongst the world for untold millennia. The statistics of Book One are as follows: word count = ~205279, page count = ~396, target audience = young/new adult (16~34 yr. of age). The reasoning behind this age range is two-fold: the concepts, morals and lessons, themes, and situations/ problems faced by the main characters are both relatable and beneficial for this age group; also yes, there is foul language, and yes there are very visceral depictions of violence. Also also (lol), I wish to give a disclaimer in terms of any romance, love, or anything else similar; I intentionally never take the story beyond anything more intimate than a kiss. So there. System Malfunction: I'm Not a Hero, I'm an Anomaly
Erevan Arclight never asked to be a hero. One moment he was logging into the hottest full-dive MMO of the century- the next, he woke up inside it. Only... something's wrong. His so-called "legendary SSS system" isn't overpowered. It's broken. Weapons morph into sheep. Healing spells explode. Time rewinds at random. Every fight feels less like strategy and more like surviving a developer's drunken coding spree. But the truth is far worse. Erevan isn't just bugged-he's branded an Anomaly Bearer, a living error the System cannot patch out. Alongside a sarcastic NPC who knows too much, a rival player obsessed with order, and a cloaked villain whispering of hidden truths, Erevan is forced to confront the question the System refuses to answer: Is he a mistake meant to be deleted... or the one flaw that changes everything? This is not a hero's journey. This is the chronicle of an anomaly who refuses to be patched out.
Flame in the Dark
What was once a bright and happy world. Heroes keeping the peace. Soon plunged into darkness by the Villains. No more Heroes are left, no more law enforcement left to resist, leaving the villains to rule. They have created a system for the unwilling people to follow. It only takes one to break a system. We follow our hero who has had enough of the villains. But he'll have to free one area at a time. (Know that I'm doing the whole irl locations thing to the best of my ability. Also note that this story has some disturbing events that isn't suitable to young audiences.)
