He feels the oppressive tension hanging in the air as he enters the building. It has been a year since he had been here and he wished never to return. But yet, he found himself sitting in the exact same chair in the waiting room, waiting on the visiting hours to start. After what felt like ages, a lady approaches him and takes him to the second room on the fifth floor. She opens the door and leaves him to go inside by himself. He walks over to the figure he sees laying in the bed. The beauty of the flowers he brought quickly fade compared to her fair, pale face. He gently holds her hand that is attached to several tubes as he hears the sound of the beeps that count each of her heartbeat.

The flowers that grew inside of Calum's body were beautiful petals of gentle lilac and playful gold, but he couldn't breathe with them inside his lungs. The problem was Ashton wasn't gay, so what could he do?
