Shuichi Saihara is not recognized as the person he wants to be. Despite constantly being in the spotlight, few people know him for who he truly is.

After being pressured into attending a prestigious high school known as Hope's Peak, Shuichi's only goal is to make it to graduation without any issues or attention. But the young, famous detective encounters those things daily. And with the lack of support he has within his home and community, he isn't coping with it very well. But unsurprisingly, there are many different personalities at this new school of his, and a certain boy with an intriguing talent seems to gain interest in Shuichi. What the student doesn't know is that he's caught the detective's eye, too.

Love, drama, jealousy, and pain... what will Shuichi learn from his new experiences in high school? Will he find someone who understands him and his troubles?
